The Falcons and Eagles have agreed to the following trade:
Falcons send:
QB Trevor Lawrence 9.2m (2025)

To the Eagles for:
QB Deshaun Watson 46.1m (2026)
S Antonio Winfield 1.8m (2023)

Falcons accept with post. So, to explain my reasoning.
1. I was close to drafting Watson at 10 overall, he was my QB target all along. He is why I attempted multiple deals trading Lawrence after getting him. None ever really materialized. For me, Lawrence was my 6th QB, Watson is my 8th.
2. I am a big fan of Winfield, getting him strengthens my S room and turns it to a nice 1-2 punch.
3. The picks, this will give me my current OTC pick, 2x more 7ths and 2x 8ths to round out the majority of my starting core. (Will have 15 or 21 starters)
To me, the only thing I am losing with this deal is a 4 years younger QB and 35m. Which I feel I more than make for with Winfield and 3 solid picks for my core team.
