2024 Real NFL Mock Draft
I suppose that my mock in Legendary became a popular hit so I'm doing one for Real NFL! In no way shape or form do I think this will happen, this is what I feel may happen based on team needs and looking at the strength of each roster.2024 Legendary Mock Draft
1. HOU: Caleb Williams QB CHI
Seeing what Houston needs, I think Houston goes QB. Their next pick isn't until 25 and I don’t believe any of the top QBs will make it there. MHJ is the consensus best prospect in this year’s class, but Houston can easily address the WR need with its next pick as the WR class is deep. HOU gets their QB of the future with Caleb!
2. CIN: Marvin Harrison Jr. WR ARI
Easy slam dunk choice for Cincy! Best prospect on the board falls onto the lap for Tailor. MHJ will pair nicely with Tua. MHJ is a future top 3 WR in the game and it is only a matter of not if but when he takes over the league.
3. DET: Malik Nabers WR NYG
Detroit in terms of team need really needs to pair Warren with a running mate, but no RB is worth taking in the top 3 and this spot will also mark another slam dunk choice with Nabers. Nabers will be the center of the Giants offense and has the potential to be a top 5 WR in the future. No complaints will be heard from Nick on this one.
4. CAR: Jayden Daniels QB WSH
Carolina desperately needs a QB and it just so happens Daniels is still on the board at this pick. Match made in heaven at this spot. Set it and forget it!
5. TB: Rome Odunze WR CHI
Tampa Bay is at an interesting spot here. It was a back and forth decision for me, but ultimately I chose Odunze over another prospect. Odunze pairs with Pickens to form a nice 1-2 punch for Geno and Tampa Bay.
6. NYJ: Jonathan Brooks RB CAR
Jets take the best RB in the class with Brooks. Easily will be the RB1 in Carolina when healthy and is a top 12 option right away as he will be one of the main weapons for Young.
7. LV: Brian Thomas Jr. WR JAX
Ant needs weapons and he will have a good amount of options to choose from. I like Thomas the best out of the options and Ant will get a good one. Thomas will be an immediate contributor on offense and can quickly become T-Law’s go to guy in Jacksonville.
8. NYG: Xavier Worthy WR KC
Well look at this! Knowing that I need weapons for my franchise QB, why not give him his real life guy in Worthy. While I do need a RB badly, I have to go BPA and Worthy is up next. Rice is facing a suspension and Worthy can immediately become a favorite of Pat Mahomes.
9. KC: Drake Maye QB NE
I’m gonna predict Ryan will pass on the position players and pick his franchise guy. Both Wilson and Hill aren’t viable options imo so I have Maye land here. Ryan can address other needs throughout the draft.
10.SF: Brock Bowers TE LV
Bowers’ slide ends here as SF needs a TE and is the best one in this class. Bowers provides top 10 upside his first year and gives Roby a piece to build around.
11. JAX: Ladd McConkey WR LAC
BPA I got McConkey landing here. Steve will add to his WR depth and potentially have himself a solid WR3 behind Brown and Hollywood Brown. McConkey has the chance to be the defacto WR1 for Herbert and will be a target monster in that offense.
12. NYJ: Keon Coleman WR BUF
Jets back on the clock and I got them picking Coleman here. Coleman potentially enters as the WR1 for Josh Allen and doesn’t have much competition for looks. Jets are setting themselves up nicely to win in the near future.
13.CLE: Trey Benson RB ARI
Giving Cleveland a potential star down the road in Benson. Great landing spot here for Benson as he will split carries with Connor to start, but knowing his injury history Benson could take over starting duties and not look back. Also helps Connor is a free agent after this season. Potential steal here for John as he will get a potential top 12 option right away at an important position
14. LAR: Xavier Legette WR CAR
I got Ethan picking BPA here and taking Legette. Reminds me of DK Metcalf and will have the opportunity to become Young’s favorite target.
15. TEN: JJ McCarthy QB MIN
McCarthy falls right on Tennessee's lap and I think the value is too much here not to pick McCarthy. Titans get their next franchise QB.
16. LAC: Adonai Mitchell WR IND
The Chargers need weapons among most things, so I got them picking Mitchell. He will be slotted behind Pittman on the depth chart and could be a potential star in Indy. Mitchell has top 30 WR written all over him with the potential for more.
17. BAL: Bo Nix QB DEN
Baltimore could go positional player with what the roster currently looks like, but with the uncertainty of Fields in Pitt, I got Brady grabbing Nix here. Nix will start right away and can be a nice piece to a Raven roster that is looking to compete quickly.
18. NYG: Blake Corum RB LAR
Back on the clock here and RB is a big need for my team and the way the board has fallen, I’m grabbing the best RB available here. Corum is one injury away from being a star and knowing that the squad is in a rebuild, I can afford to wait on a potential steal here.
19. SEA: MarShawn Lloyd RB GB
Mike needs another RB and BRBA is Lloyd. This is an interesting landing spot for him. He is behind Jacobs, but the Packers can opt out of his contract after this season. If they do so, Lloyd is the beneficiary and will immediately become a viable starter.
20. IND: Ricky Pearsall WR SF
Going BPA spot here and having Ahmed get depth at the WR position. Pearsall will likely need a trade to happen to become relevant, but that seems to be becoming more likely as the season gets underway. Shannahan drafted him in the first for a reason so Pearsall will find work in that offense. Knowing Ahmed, he can be patient so this is his kind of pick.
21. MIN: Jaylen Wright RB MIA
I got Frank adding depth to the RB room with Wright. Wright will be able to find a role in this offense since McDaniel loves using all of his RBs. Bargain Frank might trade this pick LMAO
22. ARI: Troy Franklin WR DEN
Anthony needs depth at WR so I got him selecting Franklin here. Franklin will step in as the WR2 behind Sutton and will be an immediate contributor. It also helps that his QB is also his college buddy Bo Nix.
23. DEN: Kimani Vidal RB LAC
While he’s not BPA, I do think he’s the next BRBA imo. Vidal can easily win the job in LA with his only competition being Dobbins(Injury prone) and Edwards who isn’t that much of a viable starter most weeks. Potential steal here for Jude and addresses an area of need.
24. IND: Ja’Lynn Polk WR NE
Potential steal here for Ahmed as Polk could become Maye’s WR1 in NE with his only competition for looks are Douglass and Bourne.
25. HOU: Roman Wilson WR PITT
Having grabbed Caleb with the first pick, Derek addresses his WR room with Wilson. Wilson enters as the WR2 behind Pickens and will be an immediate contributor for both Pittsburgh and Houston (In my other league I had picks 1.01 and 1.25 and with these picks, I selected Williams and Wilson so the irony here is funny knowing I’m doing the same thing here with Derek lol).
26. WSH: Ben Sinnott TE WSH
I got Kevin grabbing real life Commander Sinnott here. Sinott enters with the possibility of beating out Ertz for the starting job in Washington. If he does that, then he can become a viable starting option and has the potential for more becoming Daniels' security blanket.
27. NEP: Junior Colson LB LAC
First defensive player off the board. Ben is already set at the 3 big positional positions so this pick feels ok to use the first defensive player spot. Colson will become the leader of the Chargers D and LBs are valuable in this league. Colson will pair with David to form a LB combo for Ben.
28. TEN: Jermaine Burton WR CIN
Eric back on the clock and I have him going BPA. Burton enters behind Chase and Higgins, but with Higgins leaving in the future, Burton is the WR2 behind Chase. Opportunity is everything and this is great value here for Eric.
29. MIA: Tyrone Tracy Jr. RB NYG
Miami needs a running mate next to Swift and I think Tracy fits the bill here. No bias bc I’m a Giants fan, but I do think Tracy can have a vital role in the offense. While Singletary will garner most of the ground game, Tracy can work as the pass catching option on third downs. He was a WR before converting to RB so this can be a good thing for NY and Ricky.
30. SF: Malachi Corley WR NYJ
Roby back on the clock and I got him picking Corley. Corley will be behind Wilson as the WR2 and he doesn’t have much competition outside of Wilson and Hall, so this is a potential steal here and great value pick for San Fran.
31. DAL: Ray Davis RB BUF
BPA spot here and Davis lands in Dallas. Will be Cook’s backup to start, but McDermott always uses a committee so Davis will be able to contribute in some fashion.
32. HOU: Audric Estime RB DEN
This is a luxury pick here for Derek so I got him picking Estime. Estime could win the starting job in Denver due to the injury history of Javontae Williams. Perine isn’t a viable starter either so there is optimism for Estime to arrive sooner rather than later.
